Women Asylum Seeker Together Christmas Appeal

Aim

Christmas for most people is a time for peace, joy and hope but for women seeking asylum, there is no break from their daily worries.

The majority of the women in our network are living in temporary accommodation like hotels and receive just £8.24 a week for essentials, leaving little money to buy presents at Christmas.

To combat this we want to give the women in our network #TimeForJoy 

But we need your support.

To make Christmas special for the women and children in our network we need to raise £5,000. This will provide a gift for everyone, food vouchers and a Christmas party so everyone in our network has #TimeForJoy.

Whatever you can do to bring joy to our network will make a difference but here are just some ways you can make an impact:

• £15 will buy a gift for a child in our network
• £25 will buy a gift for one woman to support their wellbeing
• £50 will give two families food vouchers for over the Christmas period
• £100 will provide bus fares for 20 women to attend our Christmas party
