women and girls to grow at the oak.

Aim

We are raising funds to provide changing and showering facilities for Women and girls to play cricket at our club.

Who are we?

""Broad Oak Cricket Club-support Women and Girls cricket in Linthwaite".

Why are we crowdfunding?

Broad Oak Cricket Club is a Volunteer-run community club at the heart of Linth and right now we are raising funds to provide a purpose built changing and showering facilities for Women and Girls so they can take part in the sport with confidence, dignity and pride.

Cricket is becoming popular with girls at our club. The passion is there, what's missing is the space and facilities at Broad Oak.

Without suitable facilities Women and Girls are being held back from fully taking part, not because of ability, but because the environment wasn't built with them in mind. This is what we are going to change.

Your support will help us create a safe welcoming, fully equipped space where Girls and Women can;

Get involved in cricket from a young age

Build Friendships that last a lifetime

Grow confidence, resilience and leadership skills

Feel part of a team, a community and a future they belong in

This isn't just about sport. Its about opportunity. It's about giving Women and Girls the same chance to thrive as everyone else-on and off the pitch.

Broad Oak Cricket club is powered entirely by volunteers. Every pound goes directly into improving the club for the next generation.

If you believe in equality, community and creating a spaces where young people can flourish, please support our project.

Help us build facilities that open doors, level the playing field and inspire the next wave of Women's and Girls cricket at Broad oak cricket club.
