Matthew Wade is fundraising for
PAPYRUS Prevention Of Young Suicide
Charity No. 1070896

£335
Mitchell, Teddy and Liam have teamed up for their first-ever fundraiser, by taking on the Junior Wolf Run this April 13th. The boys (and us adults taking part with them) will face monkey bars, cargo nets, crawling pipes, muddy stream wades, climbing ropes, traverse walls and so much more!
While this will be a lot of fun for us all, we thought we would use this as an opportunity to raise some funds for an amazing charity, Papyrus - Prevention of Young Suicide.
Papyrus recently extended their HOPELINE, a text, call and messaging service, to operate 24/7. HOPELINE24/7 has been a vital lifeline to young people experiencing thoughts of suicide and those who support them. These calls, texts, and messages come during their darkest hours—often in the middle of the night when other services aren’t available to them.
Since extending HOPELINE247 to operate 24/7 last year, demand has surged. In 2024 alone, PAPYRUS had 12,000 life-saving interactions during the night and saw a 66% increase in the number of young people seeking help through the webchat service. HOPELINE247 is vital and life-saving, but rising costs and a sharp drop in donations across the charity sector have brought them to a critical moment and we want to help.
Your donations will go straight to Papyrus and will help them to continue their important work.
We would love for you to donate if you can, but please take 10 minutes to look at Papyrus's website and familarise yourself with their HOPELINE24/7.
The Wolf Run takes part on the 13th of April, the 3 boys will take on the course with adults and we will post pictures leading up to the run and afterwards where possible.
