WN7 Minibus – Every Mile Makes a Difference

Aim

To fund a WN7 minibus, giving local young people safe transport to education, activities and opportunities they otherwise couldn’t access.

We're WN7 Outreach CIC – a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing alternative education, health and wellbeing support, and community-focused activities for people of all ages in our local area.

For the past five years, our trusty old minibus (kindly donated to us) has been a lifeline — transporting children, sports teams, school groups, and vulnerable individuals to places they otherwise couldn’t reach. It’s helped us deliver everything from term-time education sessions and weekend youth activities, to residential camps in the Lake District, sports fixtures, and even over 100 Christmas hampers to families in need.

Unfortunately, our minibus has now reached the end of the road. It won’t pass its next MOT, and repairs are no longer viable. Without a replacement, many of the vital services we offer could grind to a halt.

That’s why we’re reaching out to you — our community — to help us raise £15,000 for a new minibus.

Transport for alternative education provision for young people who need a different path to thrive

Access to evening and weekend youth sessions

Opportunities for children and teens to attend camps and sporting events

Ongoing outreach to isolated or vulnerable individuals and families

Everything we do is for the community, by the community – we’re a CIC (Community Interest Company), meaning every penny goes straight back into helping others. We’ve tried and failed multiple funding bids to replace our minibus, and now we’re hoping that the power of people can get us over the line.
