Hi all, thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I am a Photographer, and for the past 15 years, I have been capturing the beauty of the Devon countryside. As my skills have increased, so my love for photography has grown, and so;I am keen to explore the art form as a business.

My story begins, like many with COVID-19. Sadly, the company I was working for closed down. As a result of this, I lost everything; my home, friends, camera and even myself.

I am now rebuilding a life for myself with some success. I have managed to secure a home and a job, but with the costs of living and minimum wage so far, I have yet to replace my camera, which went as a result of the above situations.

A camera is the single most treasured item I have ever owned, and seeing it go has affected every aspect of my well-being. My sense of purpose, creative outlet and mental health have all suffered. A friend of mine suggested that I offer a crowdfunding deal in order to raise the funds for a camera. I have nothing to lose, so why not?

How does crowdfunding work?

In essence, I will offer great value rewards in return for upfront investment in my small business. I only need to raise enough to buy a basic camera outfit, and from there I can build momentum on my own.

This includes; Camera body (£200-£500), Lens(s) (£600), Tripod (£50) and Computer (£300-£400) these are all estimates to second hand gear and in the mean time I also saving/working to contribute to this

 So, for example; you may wish to buy a portrait reward. Once you have purchased the reward, the money will sit in CrowdFunder, until I have hit my target.

When the target is hit, I can buy the camera outfit and fulfill the rewards.

I have set a few rewards that might be of interest to anyone, from limited editions prints to even personal 1on1 lessons I hope that there is something for everyone.  Though seriously, any support is greatly appreciated and even if you just share this campaign on your social media you are just as valuable to me and have my personal thanks.
