Aim

We’re raising funds to replace the school’s unsafe playground equipment and bring back a safe, fun space for all children to play and learn

🌟 Help Us Bring Back Joy to the Playground 🌟

Winterbourne Valley First School PTA – Playground Appeal

We are raising funds to replace the outdoor playground equipment at Winterbourne Valley First School, which has sadly been closed off after being deemed unsafe. Without it, the children have lost a cherished part of their school day, a space where they could play together, support each other, build confidence, and burn off energy before returning to the classroom ready to learn.

Why This Matters

Outdoor play is more than just fun, it’s vital for children’s physical health, emotional wellbeing, teamwork skills, and social development. With the equipment removed, the children are missing out on a valuable part of their day. We want to restore that joy as soon as possible.

What We’ve Achieved So Far

To support the school, the PTA has been working incredibly hard to raise the funds needed. Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve already raised an incredible £1700 through:

  • Cake sales
  • Film nights
  • Wreath-making sessions
  • School disco
  • And many more wonderful events!

But we still have a long way to go to reach the total needed for safe, durable, and engaging new equipment that will serve the children for years to come.

How You Can Help

Any contribution big or small will bring us one step closer to giving the children back a space where they can laugh, climb, learn, and play together.

Thank you so much for supporting our school and helping create a brighter, more active future for our children.
