Aim: We want to support more people this winter with advice and help to keep their homes warm and afford their bills.
Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne is a small local charity helping local people with free, impartial and confidential advice. We have already seen an increase in calls for our help from people who are concerned about how they are going to manage over the cold winter months, particularly with the removal of the Winter Fuel Payment. Clients are asking us for advice on affording their energy bills, applying for benefits, Pension Credit, debt and referrals to Food Banks. We are fundraising to ensure that we are able to continue providing our vital advice services to those in need in our community and to help everyone that needs us.
