The Foundation of Light hopes to rally the community, in response to the ongoing challenges faced by many; it aims to unite the city and give a hand up to those in need, to help them live better lives.
Wear One encourages everyone to come together and support each other in these challenging times.
With 35% of children in Sunderland living in poverty, this campaign is more critical than ever. Through collective effort, we can provide a much-needed hand up to those striving to improve their lives and gain employment.
How your money can help:
- £3 would give someone access to our healthy lifestyle fitness programme
- £5 would teach a person how to cook healthy meals on a budget
- £10 would pay for an older couple to attend activities to improve physical and mental wellbeing
- £20 would teach a family how to cook healthy meals on a budget
