The Cause

This Prize Draw is to raise funds in memory of James MacMillan and Gary Goldie.

James and Gary both suffered from mental health issues. Through our fundraising, we hope to reduce the stigma attached to men's mental health and addiction and prevent more deaths.

Our main goal is to raise awareness for Men's Mental Health. We hope to help to reduce the stigma attached to mental health and addiction, and to prevent more deaths.

It’s okay for men not to be okay. Men deserve to talk about their feelings, ask for help and receive the support they deserve.

The money raised will be split between Carr Gomm, a social care charity, and Oban Skate Park.

Carr Gomm Housing Support Service supported both men, not only with housing support but much, much more whilst maintaining their dignity and supporting them with compassion and empathy, allowing them a safe space to talk and be themselves with no judgement.

Oban Community Skatepark is an essential outlet that is needed for the community in Oban, not only for people's physical health, but for their mental health.

James loved skateboarding and would have loved to be able to skate in his hometown.
