The Cause
We're one of the world's largest animal welfare organisations. But if it wasn't for the generosity of supporters like you, we wouldn't exist.
We’re also the world’s oldest animal welfare charity and we’re celebrating our 200th anniversary in 2024! We’re proud of our history and are looking forward to helping even more animals, thanks to people like you. We strive to ensure that animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, advocating on behalf of all animals, and inspiring everyone to treat them with respect.
We raise standards of care and awareness of issues affecting animals. We push for changes in law to improve welfare on farms, in labs, in the wild, and in our homes. We rescue animals in distress, rehabilitate them, and rehome or release them. We work to stamp out cruelty and create a world where animals are treated with compassion.
