This prize draw is raising money to support Streets of London charity's work providing vital help for people who are homeless in the capital
This prize draw supports the work of Streets of London (registered charity number 1155242) providing vital help for people who are homeless in the capital.
Figures show that rough sleeping has risen by more than a third in London in the last year, so help for homeless people is needed more than ever right now.
The cost-of-living crisis is pushing more and more people into homelessness, with rising prices forcing people who have never slept rough before onto the streets for the first time.
By entering this special prize draw you will be in with a chance of winning a great prize and at the same time helping to raise vital funds to support homeless people.

The prize is three tickets (each with a glass of prosecco included) for Ralph McTell's show at London's Cadogan Hall on Saturday, 2nd December 2023.
One lucky prize-winner will win all three tickets. To be in with a chance of winning this special prize, enter today! Entry into the prize draw costs £5 for one entry. The more entries you choose, the greater your chances to win, and you can enter as many times as you like.
Entries can be purchased until 5pm on Friday (1st December 2023). The winner will be notified by e-mail that evening (so please be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail on Friday from 5pm onwards, and look in your junk folder just in case!)
We're very grateful to Sophie Cockroft for generously donating these tickets to Streets of London.
Ralph McTell is the composer of the Ivor Novello award-winning, international hit song and buskers’ favourite ‘Streets of London’. The performance will feature plenty of songs from his 50+ year career in addition to showcasing some of his most recent work. A singer-songwriter of international acclaim who has played across the world, McTell brings his exquisite songwriting to life with virtuoso guitar picking and evocative stories. His spellbinding songs and wry humorous anecdotes take the audience from his buskers’ days in Paris, to concert halls in Australia and America and through the Streets of London.

Since 2015, Streets of London has provided more than £900,000 of vital funding to the homeless sector in London, funding some fantastic projects that offer life-changing support to people experiencing homelessness.

All funds raised from this prize draw will support Streets of London's work tackling homelessness in the capital, funding vital immediate help for homeless people as well as longer-term support so that people can escape the streets for good.
We fund a wide variety of projects each year (typically with a grant of £15,000 per project) that provide a range of support to homeless people including:
One of the projects the charity has helped to fund is a catering skills course for people experiencing homelessness:
The money raised from this prize draw will allow Streets of London to provide vital funding to more amazing projects such as this, that provide such an important life-line to the people it helps.
Thank you for your support.

With the right support, people who have experienced homelessness can turn their lives around. It can have a huge impact on someone's life.
Will, who has benefitted from one of the projects supported by the charity, has this to say about how things have changed for him:
"The difference is unbelievable, you know, when I went in there, I didn't want to live. If I had the guts to kill myself, I would have... When I went out of there, I felt confident about my life, hopeful about my life. Yeah. it's changed my life. Saved my life, 100%".

Thank you!
