The Prize
The winner will receive a pair of Pro-Mark drumsticks signed by Blur drummer Dave Rowntree. The prize draw is in aid of Help Musicians, with 100% of the proceeds going entirely towards helping musicians.
Dave Rowntree is the drummer for Britpop legends Blur, one of the biggest British rock bands in the world. The band achieved international fame with hit songs including ‘Parklife’, ‘Song 2’, and ‘Girls and Boys’, and most recently released their ninth studio album The Ballad of Darren in 2023 and continue to sell out international stadium tours.
The Cause
Help Musicians is a charity for professional musicians of all genres, both in work and in retirement.
Help Musicians services cover everything a musician might need in a crisis. Our team can often provide same-day support, offering both financial assistance and referrals to accredited health professionals to provide vital treatment and ensure swift recovery.
Our impact is felt across the music industry, with more and more musicians accessing our services each year. In 2024, Help Musicians offered support through over 21,000 interventions, providing everything to enable musicians to develop and sustain healthy careers in a precarious industry.
