Aim

Help us protect Scotland's vulnerable whales, dolphins and porpoises, and you could win a sustainable fleece from NAUTRA worth over £100!

We have a winner: Congratulations Colin Maclennan! Please get in touch with us at [email protected] to claim your prize

The Prize

This recycled sherpa fleece with a bold black and white print, created by our partners at NAUTRA in celebration of the eagle ray, could be yours!

Designed for warmth beyond the shoreline, this half-zip fleece is a reliable layer for post-surf warmth, outdoor exploration, and everyday wear. With a high neckline, fleece-lined pockets, and a relaxed fit, it’s a layer you’ll reach for again and again.

Made from recycled plastic bottles, this piece helps give new life to ocean-bound waste — turning what doesn’t belong in the sea into apparel that protects what inspires us.

The Cause

Scotland’s waters are home to some of the world's most incredible marine life, but these animals are under threat. Endangered whales, dolphins, porpoises and particularly our iconic orcas, are highly vulnerable to the growing impacts of pollution, human disturbance, and rapidly changing habitats.

At Sea Watch Foundation, we have been monitoring and protecting these magnificent animals since the early 1990s, but we need your help to continue this vital work.

By donating today, you are directly supporting:

  • Crucial Conservation Data: You will help us maintain and expand our long-term sightings database. Tracking where these animals go, how many are left and any changes, is the first, most vital step in identifying threats and fighting to protect them.
  • Widespread Public Awareness: Your support allows us to run major educational events like Orca Watch. Each year, this flagship event brings together hundreds of volunteers from across the globe and garners national media attention (including BBC Countryfile in 2025!) to champion Scottish marine conservation.

We cannot protect what we do not understand. Your donation—no matter the size—gives us the resources we need to monitor these vulnerable species, raise their profile, and ensure they have a safe future in Scottish waters.
