The Prize
We're giving you the chance to win an unforgettable mascot experience for a child aged 6–12 at Sunderland AFC's upcoming Premier League match against Brighton and Hove Albion.
One lucky winner will have the opportunity to walk out onto the Stadium of Light pitch with the players ahead of kick-off on Saturday 14th March.
The winner will also receive two complimentary match tickets (one for the mascot and one for their parent or guardian).
This competition is exclusive to children aged 6–12, and entries must be made by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over on behalf of the child.
Entries close at 10:00AM (GMT) on Wednesday 11th March.
The Cause
This Foundation of Light Matchday we're encouraging everyone to come together and support each other in these challenging times.
With 35% of children in Sunderland living in poverty, this campaign is more critical than ever. Through collective effort, we can provide a much-needed hand up to those striving to improve their lives and gain employment.
In the last year, the Foundation has upskilled 1,304 learners, helped 88 people gain employment and supported 631 participants seeking employment.
Foundation of Light needs to raise over £4 million each year to continue to support the local community and help those looking to get back into employment.
- £3 would give someone access to our healthy lifestyle fitness programme
- £5 would teach a person how to cook healthy meals on a budget
- £10 would pay for an older couple to attend activities to improve physical and mental wellbeing
- £20 would teach a family how to cook healthy meals on a budget
