Collette Collinge is a Wirral based Artist who famously paints colourful pictures of Ferries crossing the Mersey. Collette was invited by Gerry Marsden's family to attend his memorial in Liverpool Cathedral, in recognition of her work and is gaining a huge following for her quirky pictures.
For those not in the know, Gerry was the leader of the Merseybeat band 'Gerry and the Pacemakers'. You might know the song, 'Ferry Cross the Mersey' (1965).
Collette has also donated a matching china mug to go with this superb framed print!
Be sure to enter, Collette’s work is gaining much acclaim and she is getting requests for her paintings as far away as Australia and Japan.
This would also make a great present for any lover of art, ferries, or Merseyside.

Ricky Tomlinson is known for celebrating the lives of survivors of the Thalidomide scandal. Now he’s joined many MPs and celebrities who are helping to drive our campaign, by making a heartfelt video in support of families affected by Primodos: a drug that we believed caused similar catastrophic disabilities that the government has done little to redress and drug companies have scandalously covered up.
Ricky is famously known for his roles as Bobby Grant in Brookside, DCI Charlie Wise in Cracker, and Jim Royle in The Royle Family, and playing the title character in the film Mike Bassett: England Manager (2001). Plus heaps more!
Mothers of these damaged babies have suffered immense guilt for decades, while their children, now adults, have had their lives ruined. As their carer-parents age, they will soon be left alone. We must not let this happen again, and the only way to make sure is to acknowledge the mistakes made and compensate for the harm caused. These families need your help to ensure this never happens again. Please share our message and support our campaign if you can – every single pound donated can make a difference. Thank you.
Please take a moment to also sign our petition TO PROTECT PATIENTS AND MAKE OUR HEALTH SYSTEM SAFER FOR OUR CHILDREN.
Thank you, so much. Your support means EVERYTHING to our members.
It costs a surprisingly large amount of money to fight our case in court, far more than we have already reached, so everything and anything you donate is appreciated and very much needed. For example, we may need 4 Barristers and possibly a Silk to represent us in court and this can cost around £150,000.
Who has that sort of money around? Oh, wait, only the largest pharmaceutical company in the industry. This is why we NEED your support.
Distressingly, we've recently had another child of primodos die, Justin. His mother Peggy is heartbroken. We all are! So let's do this for them, and all our members who have lost someone who cannot be here today to support our victims of Primodos. We wish we could name you all but do take a look at a Instagram where we highlight our mission to support our members and their families through their own personal stories. You will be forever in our hearts.
Become a #Patron4Primodos and spread the word! Thank you. xxx
