❤️ The Cause – Supporting Breakthrough T1D
This fundraiser is being held in support of Breakthrough T1D, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes and accelerating life-changing research towards cures.
This cause is particularly close to our member’s hearts because hosts Colin and Nancy’s grandson is living with type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is a lifelong condition that requires constant management. From monitoring blood glucose levels and counting carbohydrates to managing insulin and dealing with the unexpected highs and lows that can happen at any time, it is something that affects everyday life.
We want to help support research, raise awareness and contribute towards a future where children growing up with type 1 diabetes have better treatments, fewer complications and, ultimately, the possibility of a cure.
Funds raised will help Breakthrough T1D to:
Fund research into better treatments and technologies for type 1 diabetes.
Support the development of therapies that can improve life for people living with T1D.
Work towards delaying, preventing and ultimately curing type 1 diabetes.
Provide support and information for people and families affected by T1D.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us support a cause that means so much to our family.
By entering this prize draw, you're not only giving yourself the chance to win a wonderful Welsh getaway, you're helping us raise money in support of our grandson and everyone living with type 1 diabetes.
This fundraiser is organised by Woodland Champions Club, bringing together unique outdoor experiences and incredible hosts to raise money for causes that make a real difference.
