Wimpy Park Transformation

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit us all hard over the past 16 months and we want to celebrate what the community can do when we all come together. We now have a long-term lease from Clackmannanshire Council and can now develop this fantastic social space. 

For the next 4 weeks we have been offered the chance of support from Beechgrove and their garden designer to turn our dreams into reality. We are thinking sensory garden, orchards, amphitheatre, adventure play park, toilets and hope to be holding regular events outdoor for all ages.

We have worked hard for past 4 years maintaining the ground and doing what we can to offer activities for families. Many memories have been enjoyed at the wimpy years ago and we hope to help to create many more

These are unprecedented times but together we can recover from this pandemic and you could help be part of it.  We want to seize this opportunity and aim high,  with your help we can make this happen. 

We are also putting an urgent callout for local people to support with time and materials if they can.

Skilled contractors - joiners, hard landscaping, ground workers and quantity surveyors.

Building or gardening materials - Wood, slabs, type 1, chips , plants, hire of machinery etc.
