Will’s Way of the Roses Cycle Ride

Aim: Will is raising money for Tadcaster Grammar School’s Athletic track

Will and his Dad are doing the 170 mile Way of the Roses cycle ride over 3 days to raise money for Tadcaster Grammar School’s Athletics track.  Pupils have not been able to use the track since it was damaged and Will and Glenn want to help them if they can.  Will’s Dad runs with the Tadcaster Harriers who are also fundraising for the project so they both want to complete this challenge for the benefit of the pupils and wider community.  They will be training when they can and building up to the daily mileage needed for when they start in Morecambe on 21st July and finish in Bridlington on 23rd July.  There will be cake stops en route - especially on the first couple of days to get them over the hills!
