Willie John McBride Limited Edition Print
Own a truly special piece celebrating one of rugby's greatest legends.
This limited edition print is taken from my original oil portrait of Willie John Mcbride and has been personally signed by Willie John himself, making it a truly special and unique piece for any rugby supporter.
The print is:
- Printed on premium 330gsm cotton rag paper for exceptional quality and longevity
- Personally signed by Willie John McBride
- Individually numbered as part of the limited edition and signed by me - Leanne Gilroy
- Professionally double mounted and ready for framing
The Cause
I am raising money for Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby, by donating one of my limited edition prints of rugby legend Willie John McBride.
Willie John has chosen the chosen Wooden Spoon as the charity he would like to support, having been involved with and supported its work for many years. The charity holds a special place in his heart, and I am proud to help raise funds through my artwork.
Every contribution will help support Wooden Spoon’s vital work and give one lucky supporter the opportunity to own this exclusive signed print.
How to enter
Each donation supports Wooden Spoon and gives you entries into the prize draw to win my limited-edition Willie John McBride print, personally signed by Willie John himself.
Entry options:
- Donate £5 to receive one entry
- Donate £10 to receive two entries
- Donate £20 to receive four entries
- Donate £50 to receive ten entries
- Donate £100 to receive twenty five entries
You may enter as many times as you wish while the prize draw remains open.
Free entry route
No donation is necessary to enter. To enter for free, please send your full name, postal address, email address and telephone number on a postcard or in a letter to:

Please write “Willie John McBride Prize Draw” clearly on the envelope or postcard.
Each correctly completed postal entry will receive one entry into the draw. Postal entries must arrive before the closing date. Only one free entry may be submitted per envelope or postcard, and the entrant must pay the standard cost of postage.
Free postal entries will have the same chance of winning as entries received through a donation.
Eligibility and important dates
The prize draw is open to UK and Ireland residents aged 18 or over, excluding the promoter and anyone directly involved in organising or administering the draw.
The draw closes at 18.00 on 9th August 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible paid and free entries. The draw will take place on Monday 10th August 2026, and the winner will be contacted using the email address or telephone number supplied with their entry.
The winner will also be announced on this Crowd Funder page as well as my social media pages once they have been contacted and their eligibility has been confirmed.
