Williby Roc's CIC

Aim: Help Williby Roc's CIC survive throughout Covid-19 and to relaunch with a huge open day celebration, when it is safe to do so.

Williby Roc's CIC is a grassroots Community Interest Company that focuses on reconnecting both adults and children to nature through exciting and inspiring eco art, craft and activity sessions.

We have been hit hard  by the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, all of our sessions and workshops have been postponed/cancelled resulting in mounting costs to keep our business running.  We currently do not qualify for any support offered by the Government so we would like to fund raise to pay for our running costs and to relaunch with a huge open day celebration when it safe to do so.

Throughout our time we have ran projects engaging the hard to reach and low income families to access services that they would normally not access due to financial implications and social exclusion.  Our recent activities have focused on the link between regular time in nature, learning new skills and connections and positive mental health.  We feel that this will be hugely important to our community once restrictions are lifted, promoting positive mental health and reconnecting both to each other and nature.
