Where The Magic Began

Hello, I’m Alastair Willy (known within the Willbott’s universe as William Willcher), co-founder of Willbott’s Wands.

Nine years ago, my best friend and co-founder Peter Bottley and I began handcrafting wooden wands from a small Greenhouse in London whilst we were both between theatre contracts. What started as a passion project, fuelled by a love of storytelling, fantasy, and craftsmanship, quickly grew into something far larger than we ever imagined.

Today, Willbott’s Wands has a dedicated workshop and supplies thousands of witches, wizards, and magical beings around the UK with handcrafted magical wands, immersive experiences, and a growing fantasy universe entirely of our own creation.

Now, we are ready to take the next step.

We are building a magical destination in the heart of Chippenham, Our local town — a place where visitors won’t simply buy a wand, but step into another world.

From Workshop to Wizarding Community

Our workshop is located in the village of Foxham, just twelve minutes from Chippenham. We are proud to support local employment, working alongside six full-time artisan wand makers and two members of our administration team, all of whom live locally.

Every wand we create is crafted from sustainably sourced hardwoods and individually handmade by our skilled wand makers. No two wands are ever the same, ensuring every wand is as unique as the witch, wizard, or magical being who carries it.

Over the last nine years, we have supplied thousands of customers across the UK and beyond through our online store, wholesale partnerships, events, and immersive experiences.

But we have always believed that Willbott’s could be so much more than an online business. We believe it can become a destination. A place where stories come alive and imagination is celebrated. A place where people of all ages can reconnect with wonder.

Bringing Magic Into The Real World

Our online TikTok Wand Experience has become one of the most popular parts of our business, helping over 3,482 witches and wizards discover and align with their very own wand since February 2025 and have thus far attracted 21,500+ followers.

Every day we receive messages from customers telling us how much joy their wand and experience brought them. Parents tell us about children’s imaginations being ignited. Adults tell us they have rediscovered their love of fantasy and storytelling.

We realised something important. People aren’t simply buying wands, they’re buying wonder and imagination. They are buying the chance to believe in magic again.

Now we want to bring that experience off the screen.

Welcome To The Eldrosyne Veil

Beyond our world lies the Eldrosyne Veil — the magical universe at the heart of Willbott’s Wands. A realm of ancient history, powerful magic, mythical creatures, legendary wand makers, forgotten kingdoms, and four great magical Orders.

For years this world has existed through our stories, our experiences, and the imaginations of our customers.

This is the year it comes to life.

For the first time, visitors will be able to step directly into the world of Willbott’s and experience the Eldrosyne Veil for themselves.

Imagine Walking Through The Door…

Imagine stepping through an ordinary shop door and finding yourself transported into another realm. Ancient wands line the walls, strange potions glow within glass cabinets and magical artefacts hide in every corner. And for a little while, the worries of the modern world disappear.

At the heart of the shop will be our immersive wand buying experience, where visitors will discover their magical Willbott's Order, learn about the history of the Eldrosyne Veil, and form a bond with a wand uniquely suited to them.

But this will be far more than a shop.

Visitors will discover magical curiosities, handcrafted products, sweet treats, artisan gifts, and unique merchandise sourced from talented small UK businesses alongside products made in our own workshop. Every visit will reveal something new and every corner will tell a story.

A Home For Wizards, Witches & Adventurers

Above the shop, visitors will discover a magical common room and gaming room designed to become a true community hub.

Here we will host:

• Trading card game tournaments
• Storytelling evenings
• Hobby groups
• Family activities
• Community events
• Learn-to-play sessions
• Fantasy themed gatherings

Guests will also be able to relax amongst a growing magical library, discover the history of the Eldrosyne Veil, and spend time with like-minded people who share a love of fantasy, creativity, and imagination.

We want Willbott’s to become a place where friendships are formed and people and families return time and time again.

We have already secured our flagship location at 53 Market Place, Chippenham. The foundations are in place. The workshop is established. The team is ready and vision is clear.

I am building all sets, units and display cases myself with the Willbott's team and putting all our resources into the physical build. Now we need your help to transform an ordinary retail unit into a truly magical destination.
