Aim: Help Our club recover from the Coronavirus Pandemic. Bills have mounted up and we are struggling to pay and keep our heads above water.

Fighting for a better future!!

Willaston Amateur Boxing Club has been at the heart of the community for decades, and our volunteer coaches have helped and guided thousands of young people over the years.

Our volunteer coaches and committee are dedicated to the club's ethos and work tirelessly to have a positive impact on the club, our members and the community that surrounds us.

Its not just about being inside the ring!!!

We offer a safe haven in a family like environment where our youth can come along without losing face with their peers to an organisation where we provide facilities for training, promote fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect, self-esteem, self-confidence and positive mental health and wellbeing.

Our gym has the community at heart and we believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to participate. We have never, and will never ever turn anyone away because they can’t afford to attend a session.   Everyone, no matter what their background is deserves a chance to become successful both as an athlete and as a person.

The Willaston ABC has an amazing history and has produced some outstanding boxers over the years.  Now we want to continue that legacy for the next generation of boxers.   We want to enter more competitions, hold awards ceremonies to recognise the achievements of our members, hold more fitness classes for non boxers, have better equipment and be the best that we can possibly be.  And most of all to be able to keep our membership fees as low as possible so that it is affordable to everyone.

Being a small boxing gym with no other income other than donations and membership fees, we have faced many obstacles.  Then due to the corona virus, for the first time in our history we were forced to close and cancel all group training and coaching. While this was of course necessary we took a major financial hit.  Bills have racked up and we are struggling to pay and keep our heads above water while at the same time providing opportunities for our boxers to compete in shows and competitions.

So we are appealing to the public for help and making a plea to any  potential sponsors that are willing to work with us and support us in providing the best possible facilities and opportunities for our members and out community.

We are not ready to throw in the towel!
