Wilder Willington - Phase 1: Bring Back the Beaver

Please help us raise the £35,000 we need for the beaver-proof fence to protect our beavers down at Willington Nature Reserve.

The fencing contractors are on standby, and when the funding has been raised, they can be given the go-ahead to start the fence in April, to be finished by mid-summer. This then means the fence will be verified as secure.  That's the last hurdle to clear before we can be granted a licence to reintroduce a locally extinct species and get the beavers on site this year!

We have so many more exciting plans for Willington, including a 5 mile circular walk, visitor's centre, and installing a new hide, so anything that you can donate will be greatly appreciated and help us create a Wilder Willington for everyone.
