Aim
Raise funds to ensure that 'Women in Football' are up-skilled and supported to thrive in the industry.
Women in Football this year celebrates its 10th anniversary and wants to use this opportunity to raise awareness of our work and raise funds to make a significant change in the industry.
All donations will be used for projects that will upskill women in football to ensure that they have the confidence, skills and support network required to really thrive within the industry and become the leaders of the future. We will run new and exciting training courses, offer bursaries to those who most need support and subsidise costs where possible to remove financial barriers. We will also run networking events and activities to ensure that women continue to make new contacts, share professional expertise and support each other.
Participation statistics are improving but, there is still a huge challenge in the professional realm - 65% of females have witnessed sexual discrimination in their workplace, with many more deterred or prevented from entering football as a career. There has been significant progress, but there is a lot more to do… WIF receive very little external funding so in order to make a real difference, we need your help!
