Thanks,
The [intransit] Producers.

65% of young people feel like they 'never' or 'rarely' have a voice or say in their community. No-one that we asked said that they felt like they 'always' had a say and only 12% felt like they 'often' had a say.
We need you to pledge now to help us empower young people and secure Portland's future this September.
We're the [intransit] Producers - a group of five 17-24 year olds, brought together by b-side to bring you a festival to celebrate youth voice and youth rights. Since March we have been working on hosting our very own WHY? Festival and now we're asking for your help so we can make it happen.
WHY? Festival stands for What's Happening for the Young? and is a festival based on the UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child. Since March we've met with around 100 young people based in Weymouth & Portland and asked them questions around what topics they'd like to discuss at the festival and what art form / events they'd like to see (and participate in) at the festival too.

So far we've raised funds to host discussions, workshops and performances / installations all around the subjects and topics our local youth are interested in engaging with and talking about. We would now like you to help us offer the opportunity for local youth to express their creativity and learn some skills at the festival too!
We look forward to hearing from you!
