To buy & install an accessible compost toilet for our visitors & team members at our regenerative flower farm in Leicestershire.
🚽 Help us raise £6,950 to bring a compost loo to White Goose Flower Farm 🌱
White Goose Flower Farm is a regenerative flower farm in Leicestershire. We grow seasonal, chemical-free British flowers with care and intention, using nature-first, soil-building practices.
Everything we do at White Goose Flower Farm is rooted in the belief that flowers can be grown in a way that restores nature rather than depletes it. This project is another step towards proving that regenerative systems really work.
We’re raising £6,950 to purchase and install an accessible composting toilet in our walled garden - creating a practical, regenerative solution for our farm, visitors, and team.
At the moment, we don’t have dedicated toilet facilities for visitors or team members (other than those in the private home of our wonderful founders, Fleur & Mark - which isn’t ideal!).
Without proper toilet facilities, we're limited in how many people we can welcome and how long they can comfortably stay.
A compost loo would transform the way people experience the farm.
Having proper facilities means we can welcome more volunteers, school groups, workshops and community events, allowing more people to spend meaningful time in the garden.

Our compost toilet will be fully accessible, helping us welcome families, older visitors and people with mobility needs, making the farm more inclusive for everyone.
Your support will help us:
🚽 Install a fully accessible compost toilet
📣 Spark conversations about water scarcity, waste and regenerative systems
📚 Create more opportunities for people to learn about regenerative growing
Every contribution - whether £5 or £500 - moves us closer to making this happen.
Why a compost loo?
💧 In the UK, toilet flushing uses an estimated 13,000–20,000 litres of clean drinking water per person every year, depending on toilet model and flush frequency. As drought becomes more common and water becomes more precious, it’s time to rethink the systems we rely on.
💩 What we call “waste” is actually full of nutrients. Left unmanaged, it pollutes rivers and waterways - but when composted safely, it becomes humanure: a regenerative resource that can help grow plants & flowers.
🌾 At the same time, we depend heavily on synthetic fertilisers that degrade soil health and damage ecosystems. Composting offers something different: a local, circular solution.
Our compost loo will:
💧 Save water by operating completely water-free
🌱 Transform waste into compost, not pollution
♿ Create an accessible toilet, making the farm more welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
🗣 Create a better experience for visitors and allow people to spend more time at the farm
📚 Educate visitors and community groups about closed-loop regenerative systems
🌸 Help us grow flowers from compost — turning waste into beauty
Fleur & Mark recently attended a compost toilet workshop and are excited to put their new knowledge into action and make this project a reality.
Where your donation goes
🚽 Accessible compost toilet, cabin & ramp — £6,450
🪚 Site prep, installation & timber treatment — £500
Total: £6,950
We're hoping to install the compost loo before next season so that every workshop, volunteer day and event can welcome visitors comfortably from day one.
Once we've funded the compost loo, any additional donations will help us restore our historic ponds and create a moon meadow for wildlife.
We'll share updates throughout the project and publish a full breakdown of how every pound is spent.
You're not simply funding a toilet. You're helping create a space where more people can connect with nature, learn regenerative growing and see practical solutions to today's environmental challenges in action. Every visitor who leaves inspired has the potential to create change far beyond our garden.
🌍 Help us reach £6,950 and become part of the so-loo-tion.
