Where is justice? Survivors voices in parliament

Aim

Put survivors’ testimony about Mohamed Al-Fayed in front of MPs – securing an inquiry, breaking down barriers and holding power to account.

Survivors who have spoken publicly about trafficking and abuse connected with Mohamed Fayed are working together in a group called No One Above (NOA), to expose the systemic failures this case lays bare and the barriers survivors face in seeking justice.

Bylines Network published their accounts in the No One Above special Gazette this July. Now NOA and Bylines are collaborating to make sure those voices are heard by the decision-makers who can remove the roadblocks to justice and address systemic failures of accountability. No powerful men should be able to abuse at will in Britain. 

We are raising £6,000:

• To print and send the Gazette to every MP
• Bring a survivor-led delegation to Westminster
• Make the campaign visible around Parliament. 

We want to support the call for a single public inquiry into the wider culture of impunity and failures of accountability that survivors say have left people without justice for decades.

Alongside it, we are pressing for reforms survivors need: 

• Putting Britain’s powerful laws against trafficking to use.
• Clearer routes to the press and the courts in public-interest cases
• Independent, credible accountability processes. 

We want a future in which no one has to experience the challenges these and many other survivors have, ever again.
