Build an accessible outdoor classroom where people can learn new skills, grow confidence and connect.

To create an accessible, welcoming Outdoor Classroom where people can build confidence, friendships and a genuine sense of belonging.

To passers‑by, the Guideposts Trust’s Outdoor Hub might not seem like anything special. But for the people who use it – those living with mental health challenges, learning difficulties and dementia – it is a genuine lifeline. It’s a place where confidence grows, friendships blossom and individuals can simply be themselves in a safe, open space.

We are now transforming the space at Paradise Fields into a more accessible, welcoming and inspiring environment for everyone who uses it. A key part of this is creating a new outdoor classroom: a flexible, nature‑based space where people can learn new skills, take part in activities, grow their confidence and connect with others. For many, it will be a place to feel calmer, more grounded and part of a community.

Thanks to the generosity of local individuals and businesses, work is already underway. But we need your help to bring the next stage to life.

Your donation could help provide essential items for the outdoor classroom and wider Hub, such as seating, planters, equipment or panels for the new structure.

Every contribution, whatever the size, will help us create a place where people can learn, grow and belong.
