Wheely Tots is a thriving community-led charitable social enterprise deeply rooted in Tottenham, Haringey, since 2015, annually reaching approximately 1,000 people.
Our aims are to improve feelings of connectedness, increase mental and physical wellbeing, and support people to realise their own assets to support themselves and each other.
We’ve evolved to become experts in age-friendly walking, cycling and bushcraft, catering to various age groups and interests, including parent and toddler sessions; a Family Bike Club; walks for older people and carers; cycling for over 50s; bike building; maintenance sessions; and an affordable bike borrowing scheme.
Since 2022, we have delivered the Moselle Community Project, which is now a vital community asset, expanding and enhancing our existing programme. We provide weekly, drop-in, community-led activities, co-created to respond to attendees' interests.
These include board games, knitting, arts & crafts, bushcraft and chair exercise. Our Food on the Farm Programme provides a community-led food bank serving approximately 90 households, a community kitchen providing hot, healthy meals prepared by a local cook with volunteer support, and cooking on a budget workshops.
