Aim
Help us transform our cold gym, into a warm, energy-efficient space so we can open more sessions, reduce costs, and support more children!
Wirral Gymnastics Club (WGC) and Birkenhead Trampoline Club (BTC) are community-focused, not-for-profit clubs providing safe, inclusive spaces for a wide range of children and young people, from beginners to advanced, helping them stay active, build confidence, and thrive.
❄️ We have a big challenge though – our building is COLD! ❄️
- We have a growing waiting list of 1,700 children who want to join, but our facility is old, poorly insulated, and cold and uncomfortable during in winter.
👉 The problem - We have the demand and the space, but we can’t fully utilise it:
- We can’t run as many sessions as we could
- Our running costs are higher than they should be
💡 Why this matters – If our space was energy efficient we could:
- Offer subsidised or free places for families who need support
- Create a better experience for every child
🔥 Our solution - We’re raising funds to unlock the full potential of our space:
- Better heating solutions reducing heat loss (e.g. radiators/efficient systems), which will open up more sessions, reduce costs and keep fees affordable making the facility usable all year round!

- Reduce our waiting list, increasing access to sport and physical activity
- Grow and develop the club, reinvesting every pound back into our community
