We're still collecting donations
On the 27th February 2023 we'd raised £5,180 with 12 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 27th February 2023 we'd raised £5,180 with 12 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Any extra money will provide even further support and food for the community.
Welcome-Change is a non for profit community organisation working out of 4 locations in East Birmingham.
At Welcome-Change we aim to make a real difference to the community of East Birmingham.
East Birmingham is one of the city's most deprived areas however we offer free support and activities to those who are in need in the community.
It’s important to explain the wider impact of your organisation for the whole community, who does it benefit and why?
We offer free support and advice to the whole community and provide many services such as elderly luncheon club, debt and benefit advice, advocacy, craft clubs, kids clubs and many more.

This is where you should explain the reason you need to raise money. How is your organisation or community impacted by the cost of living crisis?
We want to raise money to enable us to offer a weekly service to the community, giving financial support as well as practical support through the supply of fresh and affordable food.
We will offer the community a warm, friendly and safe environment for people to attend without judgement or stigma and be able to accept the help and support they need. We provide free refreshments, recipes, quizzes and newspapers to create a fun, friendly atmosphere where community members can come and have a catch up and speak to the team about any issues or concerns
The money raised will be used to purchase food to be distributed at a subsided level and ensure we have a warm space and trained staff to deliver support to the community. We also offer volunteering opportunities and free refreshments to all.
It’s important to be transparent about how you plan to spend the money you raise. Your audience will be more likely to make a pledge if they can see how their donation will help.
