Website for 'The Detransition Advocacy Network'

Aim

We are raising money to launch the website for a new charity supporting detransitioners and desisters.

The Detransition Advocacy Network is a new charity launching to support people who have stopped the process of gender reassignment.

This crowdfunder is to raise the funds to launch our website.

The website will contain medical and legal resources for people who want to detransition (including information such as the effects of stopping or changing hormone replacement therapy), resources from professionals (including endocrinologists, and psychologists) to provide advice and support, contacts for professionals who have experience working with people who have detransitioned, and forums for people with similar stories to get together and share their experiences. Eventually, we will also have a live chat listening service

Our immediate costs are:

- Domain name
- Web builder
- Illustration and images
- Translation
- IT support
- Psychologists / lawyers / therapists / medical professionals to advice and write documents

We will prioritize freelancers who have detransitioned, as we feel this offers support back to our own community.

Any money left over will be saved for website upgrades. None of this money will be going into the pocket of the founder or anyone else working on this project. It is strictly for the website.

We really appreciate how much support we have had since first announcing our launch, and we are greatful for any donation towards this cause.

We're hoping the launch of this website will mean we can make our services accessible to the wider population of people who need our support.
