We Are Leif are a vocal-led music project, based in Bristol. Mark, Lu, Chris & Dale have been together since May 2016 and released an E.P earlier this year.
We're now ready to make a full album together and are excited to take this important step forward in putting our music out into the world. We are really excited to be in Vale Studios for the recording, working with engineer TJ Allen. As you can imagine, studio time and production are costly endeavours. Any contributions towards this project would be so gratefully appreciated by all of us. Depending on your donation amount, you will be entitled to a digital download, physical CD or even a private lesson with one of us!
With nods to RnB, Neo-Soul & Down Tempo but rooted in Jazz, We Are Leif write original music using influences like Becca Stevens, Gretchen Parlato, Robert Glasper, Massive Attack & Laura Mvula, and have been compared to artists such as Solange & London Grammar.
