Weald On The Field

Aim

Weald on the Field is Uckfield's largest free community festival. We want to keep it exactly that way going forward, but need your support.

Weald on the Field began as a vision of several Councillors on Uckfield Town Council who were concerned about the impact of road closures on the town's High Street traders.

10 years later, the event has grown and grown to become a full-blown day festival, running from 11am to 7pm on the second Saturday of August.

We welcome fantastic live music acts, amazing food and drink stalls and brilliant crafts, activities, and children's entertainment stalls every year to Luxford Field.

This has always been on the condition that entry is FREE for visitors, whether they're based in Uckfield or coming from further afield.

We're committed to keeping it that way, but a festival costs considerable money to put on. We raise as much as possible each year through sponsorships and grant money, but we still need your support to ensure Weald on the Field can keep delivering amazing community entertainment year on year.

You've been incredible in attending, dancing, singing, eating, drinking and sharing your opinions on Weald on the Field in the past, so now we ask if you could be a community champion and help support Weald on the Field financially with our 2027 edition.
