We struggle every day 2 raise the cash we need 2 buy food & toiletries to feed growing numbers in crisis needing help

We Care Community Hub at Kath's Place is so much more than a Food Bank, we offer help with Debt, access help online, in house support groups from Mental Health to Book clubs with our objective to create dependency but to empower our community and create a model of community help that could be copied with a table, a chair and a mobile phone globally, we get zero Government or Council funding, all work as volunteers and have a policy of helping anyone in crisis that walks through our door, the newly homeless, the parents in hostels, pensioners alone, the disabled housebound, LGBTQ, refugees, women fleeing domestic abuse to people holding down 3 jobs but still needing the help of our now famous food bank. As a way to expand our services because a crisis never happens 9-5, we just bought for £1 a phone box on Deptford High Street which we have turned into the world's first 24/7 unmanned community hub featured on the cover of the Big Issue. We call it Under The Rainbow as it's under The Rainbow Bridge next to the train station on Deptford High street, it's already transforming lives and proud addition to our high street and broader sense of community. Goo=gle We Care -Kath's Place to see the extraordinary work we do with an army of 200 volunteers the kindness of strangers and fresh air, but moving forward with this cost of the living crisis we can no longer budget on zero income and fresh air, we need funds to pay our rent, fund the utility bills that run our fridges and freezers and allow us to but food for people 1653302118_ed4b5226-c971-4ec1-b964-a561cfc3619c.jpeg& pets in crisis that seem to go up daily in price
