We are in desperate need of funds to continue our work. Please help us to pay our feed and vet bills 🙏
In seven years of operating as a sanctuary, rescuing, rehabilitating, caring for and rehoming animals in need, this is the most frightening time we have had financially.
Donations have dropped off and costs are rocketing. We have a huge vet bill of almost £1000 to pay and a feed bill of the same amount. Straw has gone up so that two bales now costs £90 as opposed to £70, and hay is in such short supply, it has gone up already but likely to be even more over the winter.
We are absolutely desperate. We need to prepare our winter fields and accommodation for all the animals too. We have just had quotes for our horses' field of £7000, and there is lots more to be done at the sanctuary.
If we cannot find a way out of this crisis we cannot stay open but we are so worried about the 80+ animals in our care.
Personally we pay all the water and electricity bills which are expensive too but we absolutely cannot afford to fund the £2000+ other monthly costs the charity faces.
Please help us. On top of caring for the animals we are also open to the public for booked tours, and help to educate on animal welfare whilst helping people to make a connection with species of animals they may never have met before. We provide activities for children in need and have an incredibly committed and active volunteer team. We are desperate not to let anyone down.
