Aim
Help fund this very special legacy project commeorating the 65th anniversary year of Whistle Down the Wind.
Whistle Down the Wind: 65 years on is a legacy project working closely with some of the 'children' (now in their 70s!) from the original 1961 film, produced by Richard Attenborough and directed by Brian Forbes.
Our work has the blessing of, and is co-designed with original cast members, and is underpinned with the reseach from Neil Brandwoods wonderful 2021 book.
The project is outlined for launch in the latter part of 2026, entailing the following:

Presently, we are working on this as a passion project, however, it is of course, time-consuming and involves financial expenditure for equipment, time, expertise, crew, editing, location bookings, and other such expenses.
We would hugely benefit from donations from anyone who is as big a fan of the film as we are, and would love to see this very special project of a much beloved film, reach completion for all to enjoy!
We are still in costing phases and therefor the figure currently is a starting point but may need to raise this should our fees exceed.
