Support WCC’s disabled lift project—buy a brick and help us raise £20,000 to make the club accessible for everyone.
Whitburn Cricket Club (WCC) is a proud community-based sports club with a rich history and a strong commitment to inclusivity, development, and local engagement. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cricket, whether as players, volunteers, or supporters. Our club is more than just a place to play, it’s a hub for friendships, learning, and community spirit.
We are raising funds to install a disabled access lift at our clubhouse. This vital improvement will ensure that everyone, regardless of mobility, can access our facilities and participate fully in club life. The lift will support older members, visitors with disabilities, and parents with pushchairs, making WCC truly inclusive. This project aligns with funding criteria focused on improving accessibility and community engagement in grassroots sport.
Our target is £20,000. Every penny will go towards the installation of the disabled access lift, including:
We are committed to transparency and will keep supporters updated throughout the project.
The lift will transform access to our clubhouse, enabling more people to enjoy events, matches, and social gatherings, this upgrade will make all of these more inclusive. It’s not just about cricket; it’s about opening our doors to everyone.
