Aim

We are a amateur cricket club looking to improve our training conditions at our club and community

Who are we?

Worplesdon and Burpham CC is a friendly local club providing opportunities for all ages to participate in community cricket activities in a safe, effective and child-friendly manner. Worplesdon & Burpham Cricket Club was formed in 1999 from the merger of the Worplesdon (est. 1890) and Burpham (est. 1957) clubs. They field teams in the I'Anson League and Village League, and operate out of their home ground at the Worplesdon Memorial Park.

We pride ourselves for being a diverse and inclusive club serving the wider community we are based in.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are looking to use the funds raised from our crowdfunding campaign on a number of planned improvements to the safety and quality of our club house, ground and training facilities to provide improved cricket activities for our junior and senior members and the wider community we serve.

Based on a recent pitch condition review by the Surrey Cricket Board our club has been recommended to remove the saddles we currently have on our cricket square through a major koroing and renovation project. The aim is to improve the quality and overall safety of the cricket square.

Money that we  will raise through this project will go towards funding the koroing and renovation of the square to help us improve the safety and the playing conditions at our club.
