We are fundraising for a water pump in a small village in Nanka, Nigeria. Children at the primary school have NO access to drinking water.
Pupils at St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Henley in Arden and parishioners of Our Lady & St Benedict Catholic Church in Wootton Wawen have already raised £8000 for a water pump. Ordinarily this would be enough money, but the land in Nanka, Nigeria is so arid it is necessary to dig 330 metres deep to reach water.
We are desperate not to leave this work unfinished and need to raise another £8000 to complete the project. We realise money is tight for everyone at the moment however every child deserves access to daily drinking water in a place where temperatures rarely drop below 30 degrees.
Please spare whatever you can, even if it is only the cost of a bottle of water to help us finish this project.
THANK YOU
