To make an academic analysis of whether the " removal " of EU Citizenship from all 67 million UK Citizens without their agreement was lawful

 New stretch target

Depending upon the findings and outcome of the academic legal analysis , we may file further applications in the CJEU and the ECHR.

The UK government changed on 4 July 2024 and on 23 July 2024 the new Attorney General Lord Hermer KC stated that " the promotion and protection of the Rule of Law will underpin our approach to legislation and policy .

So now , a most interesting question arises : Was the "removal" of the EU Citizenship and Rights of all 67 million UK EU Citizens without their agreement  by the various processes used ( some of which involved electoral crimes ) lawful, and consistent with the UK and EU Rule of Law , and also the European Convention of Human Rights ?

Some of the consequences of the highly marginal and now very questionable 2016 UK EU Referendum EU leave vote have now become clear : there has been very significant damage to the lives of ordinary people in the UK , GDP has fallen by about £100 billion per annum , the price of food has risen significantly, and the availability of fresh food has fallen , and perhaps most significantly , electoral support for those we might call the "Brexit Conservatives " has effectively collapsed , so much so that in the General Election of 4th July 2024, the Conservative party suffered its worst ever electoral defeat , with whole Counties , for example Oxfordshire , no longer having even a single Conservative MP.

The advice we have received is that it was most probably not lawful for politicians and bureaucrats to "remove" EU Citizenship and Rights using the mechanisms they did , the more so since evidence continues to emerge that Russian interference and money rendered the 2016 UK EU Referendum vote not free and fair and indeed according to a Euro-Skeptic Conservative MP , Mrs May was in fact formally made aware of this before she Notified Article 50 to Donald Tusk on 29 March 2017.

Given this background , the EU Citizenship Movement has commissioned a legal study of our case brought to the CJEU and then the ECHR. We have also commissioned a study of whether Mrs May's Notification of Article 50 was legally valid , and also whether the resulting changes to the British Constitution are valid , given that those changes were partly based on a Referendum vote in 2016 which was arguably criminally procured.
