Warwick Rowing Naked Calendar

First of all, thanks to everyone who has supported us so far - we really value and appreciate the contributions you've made!

We've had quite a few enquiries about the live event, so we're posting this update to tell you all a bit more about it...

We plan to have the event at our boathouse on the Avon. ÊThis is where most of the calendar shoots have taken place over the years, so some of you may recognise it. ÊIt's a beautiful setting, and only a couple of minutes from the M40.

The event will take place on a weekend to make it as easy as possible for people to come, and will last a few hours. ÊInvestors will be served complimentary champagne by rowers wearing only small aprons, naked butler style. ÊThese rowers will also give you a tour of the boathouse and show you the boats and other equipment that have been bought with the support of calendar proceeds. Ê

You will also get the chance to watch some rowers in their onesies training on the water from the unique perspective of the training launch that follows them on the river as they train. ÊYou will be free to take pictures throughout the drinks, the tour and the trip on the river.

The photo shoot itself will be the highlight of the event. ÊSeveral rowers will be stripping off completely, and you will have the opportunity to see at first hand exactly how much work we and our photographer put into creating shots that are both naked and family-friendly!

Because we are going to be fully naked during the shoot, we have to ask guests to leave their cameras and phones with us for this part of the event. ÊBut you will have a record of hanging out with the @naked_rowers! ÊOur lovely photographer will be happy to take your picture with us, using his customary ingenuity to keep things PG-rated, and you will receive downloads of these as part of the reward.

We will set a date for the event as soon as possible following the end of our Crowdfunder pitch, so probably early November.

Finally, if you would like to bring a friend, you can do so! ÊAdditional guests are a further £100, so please just ensure that you select the event reward, and then enter the relevant amount in the box - ie £300 if you'd like to bring one guest, £400 if you'd like to bring two, etc.
