Warriors a Scottish Musical

Aim

We are raising funds to help our show "Warriors a Scottish Musical" get to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August!

We are Firefight Productions, a newly established small theatre company and we are looking for funding to help us get our show “Warriors a Scottish Musical” to the Edinburgh Fringe this August!

WARRIORS is a new Scottish musical written by veterans and set in modern-day Scotland. The show blends real military experiences with contemporary musical theatre as four soldiers are followed from their infantry training, through their second tour in Afghanistan to show not only their experiences at war, but also the effect that it has on them and their families.

We are returning to the Edinburgh Fringe after a sold-out run in 2023.  A show at the Oran Mor (2024) and we are currently out on a British Legions tour!

The aim of this crowdfunder is to help us with the financial burden that comes with putting on a show like this, the cost of taking part in the fringe alone is exceeding £20000, that’s before we’ve taken into account the cost of hiring rehearsal spaces; buying and making props, costumes and set pieces; printing flyers, programmes and advertising materials; or paying our actors and musicians; which are all additional expenses.
