Cut back the hedges on The Warren

Over the years, the hedges and trees on The Warren have protruded further into the road and need cutting back to avoid damaging cars and allow cars and pedestrians to pass safely, especially on the northern site (connected to properties owned by Upper Warren Avenue houses).
If we can collectively raise some donations, then we can arrange for a very cost effective cut-back of the whole hedgerow in one go.
- If we can raise £1250, then we can cut-back HALF of the road (from the Canoe Club up-to Newlyn House) - around 800 meters
- If we can raise £2500 then we can cut-back ALL of the road (down as far as the foot path that leads to Mapledurham) - around 1600 meters (1 mile)
If we do not raise the minimum (£1250) then all money is returned to the contributors (and no work happens).
We will use a a team of professional tree surgeons (~5 men) from Big Heart Tree care to do the works over 1-3 days during September or early October.
