Hi our team at New beginnings improving lives CIC are a liverpool based non for profit. We run multiple services for residents in Liverpool including a Emergency foodbank, community store, warm space, mental health projects, signposting/support and out of school activities.
Community impact
Not only do we run the Warmth hub we run support and mental health service that means we are able to work with the individual/families to get them support from our service or external providers/professionals. Our door is open you do not need to register and it may be the only warm meals people get each week
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our funding for.our Warmth hub run out at the end of January 23. We were fortunate enough to receive a £500 donation to keep it running until now. We are now looking for further donations to keep it running. Whilst the weather is improving the meal element and socialising element of this group is in high demand and very much needed.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will be used for food and utilities. We are able to run this session for £100 a week as we save food from landfill for most ingredients and it is mainly the protein that we purchase for the meals.
