Aim

Help warm Carnegie library up so we can welcome the community, groups, young people and tours into our space and expand our services.

Who are we?

Mental health movement is a youth led mental health charity based in Northern Ireland. We recently moved into space at one of the libraries Andrew Carnegie donated some time ago. The space will eventually be a community hub open to all. At the moment the building opens for small events in the library itself, artists and our organization.

Community impact

MHM is a youth led charity and we work directly with children and young people across North and west Belfast through our mental health workshops, training and advocacy. We hope to be able to open our CV and interview prep service for young people soon at Carnegie library and to bring some groups into the main library area. Aside from our workshops all our other services have been over zoom and we hope to be able to bring these services to face to face.

Why are we crowdfunding?

As a small charity with a small team we don't have the resources larger businesses and charities have. We are crowdfunding to make our space more welcoming so we can bring people here to support them.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Any funds raised will go directly to help us with raising costs of bill to be more precise gas and electricity and to support our CV service where we will help young people draft a CV for employers and then welcome them back to help them prepare for an interview.
