Aim
To help alleviate social isolation by giving people a space to gain support, keep warm, make friends and have a coffee.
Who are we?
Inspire Highfield is a registered CIO working to support vulnerable families and people living in the Highfield area of Keighley. We do this by:-
- Community Cinema
- Fuel debt advice
- Delivering food Parcels
- Offer training to long term unemployed people
Community impact
Highfield in Keighley is one of the most deprived areas in England, it has a very high number of multi racial communities that need support.
We want to create a safe and prosperous neighbourhood where people can learn and become inspired. We use different methods to achieve our aims and objectives. One of our engagement activities is screening world cinema to encourage participation and start conversations amongst communities in the area. We have a track record of delivering projects that have increased people awareness on different topics such as health and wellbeing, mental health support and encouraging participation amongst hard-to-reach communities.
We have seen the results of our projects by the number of people we have got into training, signposting to relevant organisations and inspired individuals to become active community members.

Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to raise funds for this innovative and very rewarding project.
We feel this is the best platform to spread our message and get people to support our project.
How we’ll spend the money raised
It’s important to be transparent about how you plan to spend the money you raise. Your audience will be more likely to make a pledge if they can see how their donation will help.
The money will be spent on venue costs -such as heating bills ,refreshments ,volunteering costs ,film licenses ,transport costs for disabled residents.
