Creating spaces to keep warm, build friendships and provide warm food.

The extra money would help us to fund our warm spaces beyond the Winter period - allowing us to be open into Autumn/Winter 2023.
At Foundry Community Church our vision is "helping our community".
We currently run lunch clubs in the school holidays for families who receive free school meals, or find it difficult to provide food during the holidays.
We are also open during the week for groups such as Starlight and Knit & Natter, which provide community spaces for people over-60 to be in community, build friendship and learn new skills.
We hold a weekly youth group too for young people in year 6 through to year 13 - again this is a chance for young people to build friendship and community whilst having fun and navigating through life together.
We are also starting a new Warm Space on a Friday for members of the local community to access our building for warmth, brews and biscuits. It's an opportunity to chat with others, or to simply be alone and enjoy some quiet time.
Any money that is raised through this project will go towards covering our increasing gas bills to help keep these spaces warm over the winter.
