Warm Space The Spearhead Trust at Bells Farmhouse

Aim: We aim to provide a warm space to our community Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm. We offer hot meals, wifi, and drinks.

Who are we?

The Spearhead Trust at Bells Farmhouse is based in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham. We offer a Family Support Service, Befriending Service, weekly OAP meal, Youth Club for children aged 8years to 16years. Free take away meal on Tuesdays, Stay and Play.

Community impact

We base our services around the needs of our community. Our community voice in something that we listen to and thrive to deliver the services they would benefit from.

We hold regular meeting with community to see if there is anything they would like changing or starting and we are also part of the Druids Heath Management Board. The is an opportunity to meet with the different professional agencies working on the estate the provide services for the community, to enable us to share ideas, upcoming events and talk through any worries or concerns.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Being a small charity in a Grade 2* listed building we are limited on the type of heating sources we can use. Furthermore, we are an all electric building and core cost funding is not something easily gained.

We aim to raise money to help us keep our community warm and to be able to provide valuable services in our community.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Any money raised will go straight towards the electric bill. This will also allow us to focus on raising funds for additional or ongoing services.
