Aim
We want to be able to continue to provide our warm space community group which takes place in our community hub.
Who are we?
We are a community interest company that raises funds via our shop/community hub to provide help and support in our area. We currently provide a warm space for people to keep warm, have a hot drink and snacks, meet new people and be supported by the group.
Community impact
We are providing a safe place for vulnerable and lonely people within the community where they can be warm, have a chat, make friends and get much needed support. It also enables us to find out more about the people in the community and what help they need in a friendly environment. Since starting this drop in service we have identified several people that we have also been able to help with our food project.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We have noticed a significant increase in the number of people just dropping in for a cup of tea and a chat since the cost of living crisis but not so many people who buy things from our shop, which is our only source of income to fund this group.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We will use the money raised towards our increased energy bills and to continue to be able to provide free hot drinks and snacks
